Our community has flourished because to the spirit of cooperation, creativity, and a common love for open-source projects. We've witnessed multiple individuals enter the open source community for the first time, learning from and developing alongside accomplished engineers. However, we think there is more we can do to strengthen this attitude of cooperation and advance those around us.
Hacktoberfest presents a unique opportunity for us to unite this diverse group of individuals, bringing them together in a moment of togetherness that crosses geographical boundaries. It's a chance for these enthusiasts to meet face-to-face, albeit virtually, with the very people who are actively building the tools and projects they hold dear. It's a moment to foster connections, inspire one another, and ignite the flames of motivation that drive us to contribute more.
We're especially thrilled about how Hacktoberfest can act as a spark for others in our community who want to learn more about open source but haven't yet found their inspiration. They will be able to use this event as a platform to learn about the many areas they can look into, hack, and contribute to, as well as to see the beauty of open-source development in action.
Join us at 'Hack-to-be-first' for a whole day packed with inits and setups on how to get involved and to contribute on the Hacktoberfest all month long event
