[GHW Cloud Week] Advanced Defang Features: Creating Powerful Cloud applications

Event Description

"Advanced Defang Features is a practical workshop designed to empower participants with the skills to get the most out of Defang to develop, deploy, and debug cloud applications using the Defang (defang.io) CLI tool. This session will go forward from where the Intro to Defang session left off.
Participants will learn how to use advanced Defang features such as
(a) BYOC - Bring-Your-Own-Cloud to deploy their application to their own AWS account
(b) BYOD - Bring-Your-Own-Domain to assign their custom domain to their application
(c) Using GPUs and/or Spot instances
(d) Using persistent storage services such as Redis
By the end of this session, attendees will be proficient in using the Defang CLI to develop and deploy their hackathon project to their own cloud account, using their own domain, and using advanced compute and storage techniques.

Participants may also bring any issues they run into developing and deploying their hackathon project with Defang to this session to get them resolved."
